The hotel looks kind of dismal from the outside and there is still some construction work going on within the premises. But the moment I entered my booked double family room ( 2 common bedrooms) , my initial worries were put at ease. This is probably the best hotel room I have ever been at within the price bracket. Our room (booked through booking.com) had a balcony view from which I could directly see Mt. Kanchenjunga. The breakfast quality is good.

the location of the hotel is superb .the hotel has its own way inside itself to Mg marg .the walking distance through the hotel to mg marg is only 2mins . the food is costly .you can carry outside food which is cheaper and you will get more options .The taste of the hotel’s food is not bad .I can say it is average .for example -one plate of rice which costs 200 bucks .

The food was very delicious and the staffs were very helpful and always with a smiling and helpful attitude which was really great to find in a hotel! Kudos to the team of summit!! We will definately come back here whenever we visit Gangtok!!
